The strength of first love: "We have reunited 40 years later, now my life is complete"
Silvia and Kike were sweethearts during adolescence and, 40 years later, the two divorced, they met again.
For almost a year they have resumed their relationship and have moved in together.
The first love is usually remembered throughout life, although sometimes it does not go quite well. Many times that first crush is consolidated in such a way that it ends up being the person with whom you share your whole life, but what has been said, it is not always like that.

Silvia and Kike were dating for months when she was 14 and he was 19 and they were madly in love. But the Argentine couple separated when Silvia traveled to visit a relative, leaving both to see each other 15 days later, when the young woman returned. And then what happened happened. Kike didn’t show up and, without any explanation, he left her and pretended she didn’t exist despite running into each other on the street on occasion.
To overcome it, Silvia moved to another city where she lived with relatives, where years later Kike appeared, who assured her that he left her because she had believed some lies that had been told about her. They talked about her and he promised to come back for her days later, but the same thing happened, he stood her up again. However, an acquaintance told her that the boy had broken his leg and could not move, so she thought that he would return in a few months, which did not happen.
In 1983 Silvia found out that her teenage love had gotten married, so she finished turning the page and also started her own family, although she kept the only photograph she had of the two of them together.
A few months ago, in 2021, 40 years after that first love, Silvia and Kike met again on the birthday of a mutual friend , a time when both were single after having divorced their respective partners. Little by little they resumed contact until in the summer they went to live together in the town that saw that love emerge. “My soul vibrated again and my heart beat fast. I no longer asked God for anything, I felt that my life was complete,” she said on an Argentine television program.
Since then, they have resumed that first love and live together as a couple . Sometimes teenage love doesn’t work when we want it to and it’s years later when life puts it back before you.
