The love of couples according to Sternberg’s theory

Although we like the practice more than the theory of love , we should look at what the experts in love psychology say. The goal is to enjoy a happy couple and for this we have to understand what happens to love in the relationship and the different types of love that exist.

1 Friendship love.
This type of love is found in those couples between whom there is intimacy , but not passion or commitment. Actually, more than a couple, they should be friends , but it is already known that the line that differentiates love from friendship is sometimes not clear.

2 Crazy love. In this case we are talking about a couple that has fallen under the effects of a crushing crush and is in a period of crazy infatuation. They have passion , but they lack commitment and intimacy.

3 Movie love. The love reflected in romantic movies involves intimacy and passion, but lacks commitment . Keep this in mind if what you want is a movie relationship.

4 Companion love. In this type of couple, love relies on intimacy and commitment, but not on passion. Taking into account the importance of sexual life in the couple, it may be necessary to go one step further in this couple.

5 Convenience love. Marriages of convenience are not a thing of the past. Today many couples are held together by commitment without passion or intimacy at all.

6 Step love. In some couples there is passion and commitment but there is no intimacy between them. For this reason, no matter how much commitment there is, they will be passing couples or temporary couples. It is common in liana relationships in which one partner is chained to another.

7 Complete love. Complete love, true love includes the three basic components . Intimacy, passion and commitment seem to be the angles of a triangle that come together to form a happy couple. Only three ingredients.
