Chanco, the Baby Famous for Her Hair, Becomes a Model of Pantene

With only one year, the Japanese baby Chanco has signed for a well-known brand of shampoo. 



Chanco rose to fame for his abundant hair, unusual in babies, after an image of him shared by his mother went viral on the internet. Since then, his account created on Instagram, where the small poses with different outfits , has reached about 350,000 followers.

"We thought that her beautiful hair transmits positive energy to people, and we support her mother's attitude to publish those wonderful moments with Chanco," said Yoshiaki Okuraa, of Procter and Gamble, the parent company that includes the Pantene brand.

Okuraa added that they went directly to the mother of the girl, Mami Kano, "because the personality and the special character of Chanco coincide with our image of the women we want to support". The young model (and her famous hair) will appear like that in Pantene's national advertising campaigns in Japan, reports Sky News .

The Japanese baby has its own Instagram account with 350,000 followers.
