Masks have become our allies for more than two years. Since the coronavirus pandemic came into our lives, this health tool has not left us. It has been precisely in one of these spaces where one of the rarest and most peculiar situations has been seen in recent days since the covid-19 pandemic began. On an Air New Zealand company plane , a baby has surprised all the passengers of the aircraft by wearing the mask in a very curious and radical way.
The drastic measure of parents to ‘protect’ their son
The photograph that has become viral on social networks was captured by another passenger on the same flight where the baby and his mother were traveling . In the publication you can see the little one caught in the arms of his mother while they queue to get off the plane. However, what is striking about this image is the way in which the child wears the mask.
In the photograph you can see the mask with two holes at eye level to allow visibility to the child. In this way, the little boy’s parents decide to ‘protect’ her son and put the mask on him occupying his entire face.
The image has sparked laughter and jokes on social networks. However, some users have also criticized the parents’ drastic measure to protect the child and the passengers of the flight they are traveling on.
It should be noted that masks are not mandatory for children under 12 years of age. Therefore, these parents do not have to put a mask on their child under one year of age.
