A compliment is a short saying that is intended to praise someone. The word pyrope comes from the Greek term “pyropos” which means something on fire, similar to fire, and the truth that makes a lot of sense. Those words manage to ignite that moment, and it draws the attention of whoever listens to it. At first throughout history they were directed at women (since it was practically unthinkable that it was the opposite), with this it was about praising, normally, the beauty of a woman.
